It's not a complete solve but start buying physical copies of items your children like (if your kids are anything like mine they will watch the same things over and over) from resell shops or private sellers etc. That away you won't be giving the big corps your money. It won't work for newer things but usually if you wait a few weeks you can find basically anything second hand.
