I got tricked into naming my child after a Disney princess. My wife suggested Sofia (as in the "Sofia I" cartoon it turns out), and I agreed with the stipulation that it be spelled "Sophia." It seemed fitting since my name (I'm sure you can figure it out) and my wife's name both derive from Greek. I didn't relate it to the cartoon character at the time.
I chose Isabella for my second daughter's name, after Queen Isabella of Spain. Apparently my wife thought that it was close enough to Belle from Beauty and the Beast. My wife needs help.
