At this point canceling is getting ridiculous. I've cancelled prime, netflix, CBS. I've stopped shopping at Walmart.
After these cancel trends run their two week course we find we slashed ratings by 10% or profit margins by 10% but enough damage hasn't been done done even make these giants flinch.
Disney is by far the most massive of companies that even if 20% of their subscribers cancelled Disney + they would simply continue on with life. Meabwhile I have literally removed EVERY source of kids streaming content from my house to make a point. My kids lose the magic schoolbus and pj mask because I'm being a hard-core canceller? Meanwhile we can't even get pedes to stop posting Twitter links here!
I hear you. I absolutely hear you. All I can do is present the sad facts to my wife and we make decisions together. She is not going to like canceling Elsa, lol. But seriously, so many girls grew up with Disney princesses only to experience heartbreak. (Reality). So good luck to all the other dads that have to tackle this crap. We are the gatekeepers. We, the dads, decide what gets imported to the home. But it's not a decision made in a vacuum.

Check out your local library. Mine has more dvds than Netflix and Disney/Hollywood doesn't get money when you borrow.
