The final red pill is the brain did not evolve to perceive reality, but to take advantage of large and complex social groups. Postmoderns are almost right. Objective reality exists, its just that its irrelevant to 90% of the people. They mostly live in a shared virtual reality based on what their social group says reality is, in order to extract resources/safety from the group. It’s basically schizophrenia, and thats why so many ideologies don’t make logical sense.
Everybody is LARPing, only they don’t know it. Human society is a giant LARP, and the more it advances the more irrelevant outside reality becomes. And people like us, who are just antisocial enough not to go on with the LARP (or part of it) are slowly becoming obsolete. Back in the day we were needed because someone has to say “no man, wolves are real and we need to build a fence”. Now there are no wolves, or machines to make the fences, so there is no price to pay to fully submerge oneself in the hive mind.
We are the leftovers of a different era. In time, even these boards will fall silent.
