If you're putting your loved ones in one of those death condominiums it's your fault. What happened to families taking care of their own? Of course there are reasons that some may have to be there but for the most part it feels like a lot of families just don't want to deal with Gran and Gramps once they start needing their food cut up..
Those places are hell on earth.
I would rather wipe, feed and spongebathe my parents than put them in there. I literally have NEVER heard of a positive nursing home experience from ANYONE.

Dual-income families. Get women out of the workforce and all of a sudden these situations become much more manageable and in fact the ideal.
