I know one cares about the NBA or Sports ball (And I haven't watched any of it since 2019), but...
As the dollar loses reserve currency status, all of these players will have the incentive to build their own league and leave the U.S. for emerging market currency exposure. The will call it the GBA (Global Basketball Association) with ~10-12 teams minimum across 10-12 countries in emerging markets, by walking away from these woke owners like Cuban (because they don't actually need any of the owners to field teams, all they need is a court and some cameras. In addition, to getting an ownership share in the league,... by doing this they will benefit from escaping the U.S's stupid state tax laws that screw players across state lines. Most of the countries will not tax the players at all. Since there are more eyeballs globally, then in the U.S. and we will be losing purchasing power with our dollars, they will all flee. To deal with traveling great distances, they will play multiple games against the same team and the countries will give them special travel privileges.
Hockey will face something similar, but probably won't be able to 'own' the league, there will be migration to Russian, Norway, Finland, Sweeden teams to maintain wealth. NHL will probably survive in some form, but it will be like MLS.
Baseball and Football will have to focus on the American market, and will become less political (unless full commie takeover occurs). Players will be less woke or choose the GBA, Soccer, etc.
Anything that results in these dbags leaving the country, I am in favor of. Hope your prediction comes true....only faster.

Maybe, but the problem with global sports leagues is travel. Game frequency majorly boosts profits - that's the only reason baseball teams can pay astronomical salaries. You can't play every few days if you're jetsetting. The flying time isn't the only thing you have to worry about. Even once a week football is not enough time to do that regularly, and the other sports play 3-4x that often. Furthermore, if you detach teams from their locale, you will severely harm the fan base. The heart of sports is a community experience. It's why soccer is so successful in Europe with their tiered league structure - most towns that have humans have a local soccer club.
Basketball's struggle began before SJW. They nerfed their own game - 80s bball was closer to hockey. Nowadays it's essentially a less elegant version of golf. The lebron superstar era has also marred the sport. Ex: one of the superstars abandoned his team because some fan tweeted mean words at him. They're committing suicide. Maybe they'll go global but they will die faster that way.
Football will survive and thrive if they can ditch the wokeness. Baseball will go on until the older generations die off. Hockey/the NHL has the only bright future imo. Ice hockey is the apex of competitive team sport anyway. It's essentially the same game as soccer except refined, with all of the positive elements from the other major sports and none of their weaknesses. The multinational aspect of hockey players limits political fuckery.
Baseball will survive, it's popular enough with hispanics and enjoyable to go to a game (and there are lots of them). They just will be stuck to the dollar which will lose value.
I sort of agree with much of what you wrote. But what the GBA will do is have series at locations, so instead of traveling from South Africa to Brazil for one game, they will play 3-5 games in one location and then travel.
My guess is the elite players will have residences at each location, and they will have housing for the lower end players to stay at each location (or dedicated hotels during the season).
The teams location fans is not really the point anymore, it's more about going to a game, having the players in your country, and the scene. It's a little bit like the WWF does it matter who wins? I think that will sustain it and slowly erode it as well as something more real takes it's place at some point in the future.
This is why we must insist now that they allow women into the nba! Let's completely destroy its marketability now before they become the gba.
I don't think we need to do anything, they will make money outside of our country, it won't be more marketable to us, if anything it will decline significantly, but China, and emerging markets will support it. Or they won't, but we won't have to deal with them anymore. Net net, it will be bad for the players not in the top 100, which will open some eyes...
I don't see players outside of the top 100 getting 20-40 million equivalent contracts going forward in that type of structure.
My point is to move it along towards its collapse much faster! Let's help destroy the nba by pushing for women and trans to be allowed to play. Let's throw gas on the fire instead of just letting it burn.
Unfortunately, women could never compete at the level of the men, and the trans thing only works on the way down to the women's level of competition.
It doesn't matter. The point is to help the woke mob push the issue. With enough pressure the nba will eventually have to comply causing its collapse. The US market will tune out and so will the chinese, which is the market they really want. Instead of trying to patch the leaking dam that is going to fail, we need to blow it up so we can rebuild it.
I’m sure that those women were really good at the sport but nobody really cares to watch them. I doubt they will last another five years, the NBA is going down?
I think they will survive and prosper globally but at least they won't be based in the US, what's even better is the competition to be in the league will be insane, very few Americans will be able to get in, so it will be even less of a focus here.
