The life force "elan Vital" is senior to a brain, a heart, or any other human organ. No one on earth can say, especially science, when the spirit, the life force, chooses or inhabits a body. That is the reality and that is why this argument will never resolve. It is a spiritual out of this world experience the beginning and ending of a life cycle.
