Big Blue went corporate in 1990, when that asswipe Gen. McPeak took over (I was present at The Destruction, unfortunately).
It's all gone to shit ever since, and getting worse every year. ( I pulled the D-Ring in '92, but many of my best friends stayed in - one retiring 3 years ago).
Fortunately, shit like this will drive actual patriots underground, mostly to red-pill their cohorts quietly and keep on keeping on, right under AFOSI's nose.
Yeah it's been bad, fortunately I have been a bit sheltered from a lot of it in the aircrew world. My brother retired a couple years ago and to be honest I don't know how he stuck around like he did....he is more based than I am which says a lot!
