i'd like to agree but i just can't, i don't think you get the point on why the holocaust was special, OF COURSE more people were killed throughout history, whether it's for ideology of religion etc, but what made the holocaust special was that it happened because of race, feeling that an ethnic group is inferior to you and are germs to your perfect nation, poles on the other hand were killed for their resistance, but that's not what happened to the jews as they weren't resistors, that's what makes the holocaust so shocking, if hitler had continued on with his plans to kill slavs in german occupied territories then yes, the holocaust wouldn't be that special, but for now there isn't much compared to it! "okay, maybe the rwandan genocide, oh and the uighur muslims! or maybe that one was for religion? i don't know man, but i've made my point!".
You are actually arguing that non-combatants of an undesirable race/class/religion haven't been purged anywhere other than nazi Germany?
The actions of the nazis are the rule, not the exception.
i literally said that non combatants of an undesirable religion HAVE been killed, class? if the class is associated with the combatants, but race for the sake of race? that's what i call an exception!
