FDR was a three term president. Then the 22nd amendment was passed to limit presidents to two terms.

FDR won 4 consecutive presidential elections. He died shortly after being inaugurated for his fourth term in 1945. Truman served out the term.

To be honest I'd much rather have Ron Paul there as he was four to five decades ahead of us on where this country was going if we failed to correct the Federal Reserve, foreign policy and cronyism.
