I agree with you, this is my biggest issue with Ted Cruz. Hell, he even puts poison pills in his own legislature. Just look at his term limits bill.
But to be fair, MTG is new and I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt. I’d rather they make legitimate efforts to try even if they are doomed to fail. At least her ideas are getting publicity.
Let me break it down for you. There are 15-20 people in congress who care about this country and their constituents out of 535. They are the extreme minority and are ignored by everyone, including their own party.
