Yeah, he's right about all that. However, he's just touching on such a small amount of the problem. Banning all those things for example won't solve the problems we're in because the problems are much deeper. What he listed are almost more like symptoms of the problem rather than the problem itself.

I don't think it's advocating banning anything. It's about getting control of your life and being aware of these normalized vices. Then making the choice yourself to do better.

That's wrong though. That's where we're at right now. I suppose more awareness might be good but everyone knows gambling is a net loss but they do it anyway. Everyone knows porn is undesirable but they jerk off anyway. Everyone knows... etc... There's fundamental issues in our society that need to be addressed as to why people turn to these things and perhaps banning some of these things, like say porn, might actually be worthwhile.
