I ended too many days looking like this, so I quit and went to college when I was 23. I felt like an old man. I now make way less money than I did then, but the wear and tear on my body is negligible. I will turn 45 tomorrow, and easily pass for 30. Not putting down those that bust their ass every day for a living. I still have several friends and relatives that do equally hard work as plumbers, pipe fitters, and mechanics. It just wasn't a life that I wanted.
