2 hour commute in, 16 hour shift, 2 hour commute back home, 4 hours of sleep and do it all over again tomorrow so I can afford rent... I'm all out of privilege to spare bud, sorry
I've worked many 20 hr days, back to back. I mean time spent working. Not including commute, eat, shower, etc. I've supported myself for 40 years. Hard work is not lethal.
So have I, and I can tell you I don't want to be a cog for some gigacorp to get rich off my labor. I've noticed most people I worked with who work 12hrs/day tend to have shit bodies and don't seem to have great family relations.

That's not living; that's surviving.
That's not surviving; that's dying.

Woah what kinda work is this??
Railroad, it's kinda typical in the field due to yards never being close to anyone and even if one is it doesn't mean you'll work at that one
People have brought campers in before and just slept overnight at work on weeks they know they'll be doing so many hours
Fuck that! There’s easier ways to make money 😂
