I've worked several elections. All poll managers are Dems, even in the highly red areas like Howard Beach and northeastern Queens. Ballots here are printed in several foreign languages, once an old guy of Italian descent made quite the stink because Italian isn't one of them. He was irate, yelling that he'd learned English, and why couldn't THEY.
THe poll managers are Dems because they have jobs or businesses to attend to. Conservatives actually take care of themselves and work. Problem is we dont fid or dedicate time to being poll watchers or running for office.
Oh, I know. Trust me, I know the mindset. There are some places that are hopeless and NYC is one of them.
