Fellow floridian. Publix is the only place I wear a mask to.
Our winter is over and have been boating or kayaking after work and weekends. As a former illinoisan, I'd rather put a bullet in my head than live there again.
Not sure what area you live in, but I've had no issues going into Publix in Central Florida or the Treasure/Space Coast. No one bothers me about it. Don't get attitude from the employees.
It's been hit or miss with Walmart. Depends on who they have at the door. Normally you can tell walking up if someone wants to be a Walmart TSA Agent. I just tell them I have a shrunken trachea due to a birth defect, and they apologize profusely for bothering me about it.
My trachea, though I've never seen it, is normal size.
