IMO people who produce these shows don't realize they're actually demeaning black people. Black culture around the world is rich in myths, heroes, oral traditions, history, fairy tales etc.
Instead they take well-known, caucasian historical figures and change their race. What they're saying is "there aren't enough black historical/fictional figures we deem important enough so we're going to use white ones instead."
Its almost like they do not understand black history at all. Really its like they actually actively do not want to know black history and prefer white history. This is just woke nonesense, while the portraits we have of Boleyn haven’t been 100% certified to be her, we definitely know that she wasn’t black because her and Henry VIII daughter Elizabeth I became queen of England and there are multiple confirmed portraits of her being a pale redhead.
