Someone down the road from me tried to murder/suicide his family.
Reason: (Rumors from neighbors) Lost job due to COVID, couldn't pay his mortgage and just was served an eviction notice. Couldn't provide for his family and he thought his only way out was to kill them and kill himself, because that would be better than being homeless.
(Note: They talked him down, everyone's still alive)
Also tons of local businesses and people I knew just up and left. My hair-lady quit her job because of the stress from the city constantly telling them they'll shut them down for any covid violation.
Yet the people who caused all of this will never be held accountable for all this death and destruction.
