This is correct. Texan here. Schools are open, but parents can still choose to do remote learning in our district. Although, if the child starts failing, they are then made to return to in-person instruction.

FL went pretty Yankee. I live on the border of it and whenever I go to Fl I'm always surprised at how rude people are compared to my state. Definitely a different culture than the rest of the south
