The say the best for of defense is attack and it is certainly the MO for the Democrat party. If you look at what Chris Wallace did in both 2016 and 2020 interviews was attack Trump (framed as a question--will you would accept the outcome of the election) and msm media created much fodder from that one supposed question--it was an attack. It is about the only thing that they do well, is attack. More important is that it puts Republicans constantly on defense. After every tragedy, they attack and immediately Republicans defend themselves and their positions. If you look at the latest fiasco with the Officer that died, it turns out the original narrative that he was hit over the head with a fire extinguisher was totally false. USA Today headline on 2/2/2021 was "Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick lies in honor at the Capitol"--in this article, it says he died from injuries sustained by a pro-Trump mob. The truth that there were no injuries to his head only came out after they had milked the man's death for everything they could. It is disgusting.
