Got laid off yesterday, it’s actually a win win win win.

Won’t have to wear a mask when going back into the office, won’t be going back.

Won’t have to take a vaccine, they are pushing it and we have gov contracts.

Won’t have to do critical race theory training.

Walking away with a decent chunk of change.

I’m scared of the future but not fearful of it.

Thank you pedes for helping me to be stronger.

I’ve found, over the years, that job losses and layoffs are often a blessing in disguise.

Agreed.Over and over Ive seen people move on to better things.Often we get involved in the day to day and before you know it years have gone by and you havent met personal goals - just completed work tasks.

It's happened to me five times. EACH time it turned out to be a very good thing. Each time I got a better job and/or situation. EACH time.

  1. Psycho boss complained to HR about me, got the boot, got a great new job 40 percent pay increase, better industry
  2. Joined a company that was going under, but I didn't know it. 8 months later, no more job. Ended up in one of the best jobs I've ever had
  3. Dot com crash... escaped to a VC funded company in Silicon Valley, start up gig I'd always wanted to try
  4. Start up failed ($20 million burned) - headed to the Greatest City in the World (at the time) NYC
  5. Job in NYC booted me when I refused to move to London for them. Started MY OWN PRACTICE - and did it for 11 years.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WORKING FOR YOURSELF. The first money is hard, but eventually the money is better and the hours are less

Energy helps molecules realign to where they should be. Same applies to us. A little chaos helps the strong rise and the weak fall.

I agree. I was laid off by Directv right before they were swallowed up by AT&T and regret nothing.

Wise words. That is the exact way change should be taken.
