Just a reminder; Jeep is owned by Fiat-Chrysler (An Italian multinational auto group)
Common "American" brands Under the same umbrella:
JEEP, Dodge, Chrysler, RAM, SRT, MOPAR...
(And this is because Chrysler, and all their sub brands were demolished in the 2008 financial crisis where Fiat bought them out. Notice how shortly after 2008 America started seeing a surge of Italian brand cars showing up in the US? Cars like, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati; all brands under the same fucking FCA - Yeah sure, those brands have all been here since the 1950's; but notice how much more common they are now.)
And to further this, FCA is also a failing auto group that is in the process of merging with a French multinational auto group too... So; a chain of larger companies buying out failing brands, and then failing only to be gobbled up by larger groups... Yeah, China is eventually going to own all of them outright at this rate.

What brand is the most made in america? I heard Toyotas were made primarily here even though they are owned by japanese, do you know if this is true?
A lot of VWs are made here, and they refuse to allow their workers to unionize.
BMW makes their SUVs in SC, at least the X3.
Everything is 'globally sourced parts. My old 2000 BMW 323 had a GM transmission.
There is a factory close to here (Midwest), and all they make is Toyota seats.
