He should counter sue the city/state.
1 They failed to suppress riots to keep people safe, therefore Kyle felt the need to protect himself.
2. As it turned out, he did INDEED need to protect himself.
3. A criminal put a gun top his head but has never been arrested or charged with anything.

Kyle traveled out of his home state.

This coming from the same people who argue borders don't actually exist? Rich.

He lived on the state line.

Kyle traveled out of his home state. This argument wouldn't fly.

My understanding is that he worked in the city in which he was violently assaulted. The fact that there's an arbitrary political border between his home and his work does not cleanse the city of all responsibility.

Wisconsin is going to argue that Kyle went there to be a provocateur with intent.

They may even be right. I don't think so but it's possible they'll submit evidence at trial that demonstrates Rittenhouse intended to overthrow the State of Wisconsin, starting with the peaceful arsonists and paedophiles that were showing their support for the Governor.

It's an American jury, anything could happen.
