Even if you completely ignore the Constitution, like they are doing, what form of justice allows the accused to be tried, convicted and sentenced by the perceived "victim"?

When looking at it from their point of view, I am forced to ask how warped does their sense of justice have to be to not see this?

There isn't another option for a jury for an impeachment trial.

That being said, they aren't allowed to appoint their own judge like they did. The judge is the chief justice and no one else, and as he declined to participate this is not an impeachment trial.
