I disagree. Pinocchio, for example, is a clear endorsement of those values.

The whole sequence about Pleasure Island in Pinocchio was meant as a warning to both kids and their parents about what can happen if they get careless and are drawn in by people making false promises. It's anything but a good place - it's actually terrifying, which was the movie's point. It was trying to warn kids, not lure them in.
