What I don't understand though, is why President Trump invited everyone to DC on Jan 6. In his speech, he brought forward nothing we didn't already know. He knew his base was very angry, disenfranchised, and felt incredibly cheated. Why did he call his supporters there?
Politician that doesn't want to certify the fraud: look, thousands upon thousands of citizens are out there, peacefully and patriotically protesting against the fraud that might have happened. We need to do something!
Why they didn't do that in the early arguments? Because they knew what would happen since they orchestrated the entire thing
