That's a very valid point but you must remember: covid deaths were always overhyped by the media regardless of the fact that the percentage was low. Why shouldn't we do the same?

Hopefully we're about the truth. I'm very (covid) vax skeptical but if the genuine numbers showed it as safe and effective, that would be fair enough. Of course, I don't think we can get anything objective on it for a year or two at least. Given its novel nature, potentially a lot longer than that.

the vax is useless. 95% success for a virus that's 95% survivable? All you do is expose yourself to risk

I can see a case for the most at-risk. But otherwise, yeah. As far as I know, I've already had it. The only reason to think that is I've been in regular close contact with someone who has. I've had no actual symptoms.
