They do, but thats not what happened here. Whatever happened to maintaining principles.

Let the guy have his pastor, then execute the bastard and let him stand before God and be judged. Letting someone have last rites before a planned execution is a good thing, and waiting around a bit longer for that execution ain't gunna hurt nobody.
