He left AG of Missouri after only one term to run for Senate against Claire McCaskill, who only won because the Republican running said something incredibly stupid and didn’t drop out even though everyone was begging him too. Hawley said he doesn’t want to be a one term Senator that runs for president like Obama and wants to keep representing Missouri.
