Those were probably already taken because all the "tough guys" joked about losing them in boating accidents when laws were passed..
When they came door to door after the first few stories of families being massacred because individuals fought back the rest just hid what they had or gave them up..
They would have normally grouped together but Militias were so demonized they didn't want to be associated in fear of losing their safe accounting job, and of course they couldn't talk about it with like minded people online either.
