Kinda wondering if we ought to start paying respects to dates of genocide.. its obvious to most of us that the term nazi is being thrown around carelessly and the crimes of the people who welcomed the camps fade into the background behind the soldiers who rounded people up and put them there. April 17th might be a good time to start. This stuff can happen in your own backyard.
That's a good idea. During "Black History Month" perhaps we can pay respects to some black on black genocide in Africa, say "never again" and point out some of the pre-genocidal crap that happened before the genocide to educate the public about how this kind of stuff ends up happening.
