I’m 30 and about to become a momma in just a few months. I’m so glad I stuck to the course of finding myself a good man and settling down in my 20’s instead of hoeing around on Tinder and OnlyFans like so many girls my age. No good man will ever take these skanky “liberated” feminist types seriously and they are going to end up wasting their best years on one-night stands. By the time they realize they want to settle down, they will be too old and used up to ever find true happiness.
Yeah, I don’t disagree. Our society really downplays the truths about fertility and age. I did the college and career path first. Got my B.S and started my career at 22, met my husband at 23, married at 26, Masters degree at 28, and then pregnant at 29 and will be a mom at 30. It is nice to take a leave from my career knowing that I have my education and 8 years of experience to fall back on if or when I decide to go back, versus trying to start my career in my 30s. But I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to wait any longer to start a family.
Exactly! While I’m definitely more of a traditional kind of girl, I think that having an education and established career of my own is absolutely essential. My career is definitely not my first priority in life, but knowing that I have it to fall back on gives me peace of mind that I will always be able to care for myself and my kids if life ever took an unexpected turn.
