Exactly! While I’m definitely more of a traditional kind of girl, I think that having an education and established career of my own is absolutely essential. My career is definitely not my first priority in life, but knowing that I have it to fall back on gives me peace of mind that I will always be able to care for myself and my kids if life ever took an unexpected turn.
