No I don't. It was the state stepping into the economy that made those things under Trump happen. Now Biden's pulling back and lEtTiNg tHe fReE mArKeT hAnDlE iT.
It was the state reversing state action that lowered the price. You might have a future working for shameless economists like Paul krugman. He told us the internet would be no more useful than a fav machine in year 2000 and still wants to control the economy
A true free market wouldn't have IP laws. It is the IP laws that allow companies to sell insulin at those prices. In a true free market, insulin would be dirt cheap.
But also the other reason is globalism. Capitalism + Nationalism = Good. Capitalism + Globalism = Bad. Trump's policy was a nationalistic policy. The undoing of it is a globalist policy.
Here's the thing. Capitalism is the best economic system but there's more to economics and society than economic system. Also capitalism is not synonymous with free markets. Generally speaking, freer markets are better usually and the more centrally planned the worse off you are but there can be times when a less free market is better such as in nationalism vs. globalism situations. Ultimately, there are good and there are bad regulations and even in full free market capitalism you have government regulations on say private property or moral issues which has an impact on economics. The impacts of government be spotted by people with a keen eye and they can push government regulations to get the outcome they want. The huge push for free market capitalism in the USA was from right-wing globalists who wanted to convince the public that nationalistic economic policies were bad because globalism enhances the wealth of the elite but it comes at the expense of the average citizen.
Capitalism and communism aren't the only two economic systems. There was that third one that was such a threat to both that the supposed "mortal enemies" teamed up to kill it.
Isn't capitalism great?
I think you mean fascism or corporatism not capitalism.

If you need insulin to survive, you bet your ass it's worth more than $35/mo to you. This is the market adjusting to that.

"No, capitalism isn't bad, my flavor of REAL capitalism hasn't been tried yet!"
The state is what prevents other people from making the product. There is no free market for pharmaceuticals in the United States, nothing even close.
Obviously there's restrictions. Without them the capitalists would gladly be selling cocaine to schoolkids again.
-free market -free speech -free elections
Of those 3, the market is actually the least free, even with the stolen elections.
Unrestricted capitalism borne of corporate fascists in league with an authoritarian oligarchy?
What kind of communist word salad is that?
"fAsCiSm iS cApItAlIsM iN dEcAY"
Yeah, what part of free market would forbid the commercial import of medicines via presidential edict?
I suppose you prefer communism
Nope.
BS
