I will agree nationalism is best. But how does that have anything to do when arguing between economic systems? National communism would not have a good end result for most of the nation’s population. And for the record, we don’t have a economy based around capitalism these days. It’s corporatism where monopolies are protected by the state (I.e. the aerospace industry)

Corporatism is basically socialism. Just replacing the controlling party for the controlling corporations. The corporations would influence the government to pass laws to increase their profits (offshoring) and block new competition from competing with the. The solution we need is a capitalist system with the government protecting our country from unfair business practices from foreign entities and stopping from corporations outsourcing jobs while still being allowed to sell in America.
