Oklahoma as well. And no background checks on private sales or trades. You can quite literally buy a gun from some dude in the Walmart parking lot, and immediately conceal carry it home. As it should be in a free country.
I am not American but I hope the rest of the US soon gets permitless conceal and open carry. I live in a country where guns are banned and so the government feels that it can get away with anything. Don't fall into the trap of "common sence gun control"
Well, considering the requirement for the militia is for able-bodied men ages 17-45 (federal), 65 (some states) and no upper limit (several states)...Utah still has a way to go.
Of course FEDERAL law forbids the person under 21 to be able to even purchase a pistol. We'll give Utah some benefit of the doubt there.
Got to nullify/repeal that law, too. Among many others.
Requiring a permit also makes sure that that person knows the law, is proficient enough to use it, and has a good criminal/mental health background. I can’t argue with that, especially when you think of all the human trash that can carry concealed right along with you.
Maybe if this type of thing was done in the schools, such a permit would not be necessary.
Mississippi has had constitutional carry for the past few years
Missouri too.
Alaska too
Here in St. Louis, you have to have a concealed carry license. Edit: I just did some research and you can actually choose whether or not you want to take the concealed carry class, the class is more for inexperienced gun owners though. https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/local/concealed-carry-permit-no-longer-required-in-mo/63-381182039#:~:text=Effective%20January%201%2C%202017%2C%20most%20people%20will%20not,Gov.%20Nixon%20vetoed%20it.%20Then%2C%20the%20Republican-led%20

Shall not be INFRINGED on.
You can carry a gun in any state no matter your age.
Exactly. 21 years old? That means a 19 year old actuve duty service member isn't good enough.
Colorado is already open carry state
Missouri has Constitutional Carry. Basically, if you can pass the NICS check, you can carry concealed legally.
Same in Arizona too. No conceal carry permit or licensing required.
Alaska is a Constitutional Carry State.
WV has always open carry for residents . No permit needed. Haven't checked recently, but far as I know it hasn't changed
Where have the other states been? Where has Utah been?
I think New Hampshire has never required permits to carry.
I think Tennessee is set to pass this soon
Indiana is voting on constitutional carry next week

Oklahoma. All Active Duty may carry, and pretty much everyone else that isn't a felon or wife beater.
Ky has open carry.
I would love that law in Michigan but wit Hail Whitmer as Governor, no chance of that happening.
Sounds good but unfortunately Utah still has issues which is RINO m i t t r o m n e y which Utah is stuck with until 2024.
I mean, only if he lives that long. Any number if things could happen; it's a dangerous world.
In Texas, they will make sure you know the law and can at least shoot straight before they will grant you a CCP.
