I kind of think the first day was particularly rough because this entire trial is such a fucking absolute pile of shit that they didn't even know how to approach the damn thing. They knew what they wanted to use for their defense, and clearly half of their defense is throwing the Democrats' own words back at them just from the last two days, but on the first day, really, what the fuck do you say?
