I never watched the show because I assumed it was woke garbage even though it got a lot of praise from people I respect. But I guess now there's no other path it can take at this point so.... Suck me.
That's just it though... it wasn't woke garbage at all. It was actually worth watching because Favreau and Filoni actually understand and care about Star Wars. They didn't inject any SJW bullshit into it.
It was so good that Kathleen Kennedy is actually angry about its success, because it was totally stealing the thunder from her FORCE IS FEMALE, shitty knock-off version of Star Wars. But now that Disney is flexing their dick and playing thought police again, they're going to have Kennedy take control of it and it will probably turn into more of her SJW crap. I guarantee they'll replace Gina Carano with some outspoken, far-left cunt like Lucy Lawless.
