Yup... it's like people here haven't dealt with leftists before. In reality, people don't change their opinion based on facts. They change it based on feeling. Basically, until something bad happens to them personally, they won't consider changing their belief.
I mean, most conservatives that switched over didn't become conservative for that reason. So it suggests remaining leftists have some type of very fundamental defect.
And another reason why they won't change is they probably won't show the defense on most networks. I imagine if they do that they'll edit the unedited clips to the original edited one and make hilarious jokes, in their own minds, lampooning the silly, guilty Republicans.

The "good" news is, the actions of leftists politicians has been directly affecting people's lives to a painful degree since last March. Bad things have been happening, and people are getting red pilled to the point of changing their beliefs. How many? Millions, arguably. Still feels like an uphill battle, and yet we're gaining ground, at least on some fronts.
It's not even belief, it's just boiled down to childish behavior with libs. If it's Trump, conservative, GOP, they just stick their fingers in their ears and go "nah nah I can't hear you!"
They tried arguing their side, and were handed their asses by logic, reason, and fact, for years and years. So now they just disregard anything that doesn't benefit them.
If you've ever dealt with an actual narcissist in the real world, you know this intimately. You can prove your point until you're blue in the face, and they'll just go "whatever, I still say I'm right." And you hit the wall eventually and just stop trying - which is what the narc wants. You can't win against a narc.
The Senate is a room of professional, weaponized narcissism, to me.
