One of my dad's men had a kid who was offered a contract with a major sports team. Since he was in the minors, they offered three years and a million dollars. The kid's agent refused, saying they wanted a million dollars over two years.
The team walked away and the kid lost his chance to be in the big leagues, all because of a stupid agent. Take the first deal and at least have a chance at succeeding. If things work out, they'll renegotiate a lot of the time.
....is it just me, or does this seem too convenient? How did they sign a deal so fast? This stuff usually takes forever to negotiate....
The red tape is prolly down since he is prolly representing herself, since her agency dropped her.
U ll be surprised how fast deals get done when the middlemen r gone.
The agents will make or break people sometimes.
