Might be starting to wake up? My in-laws are as woke as woke gets and they've been watching it religiously (except for today, obviously. Wouldn't want to accidentally hear a different opinion).
My in laws were like this. Very nice people, but could literally not hear anything that did not reinforce their comfort level. A few times I carefully (and angrily) outlined the facts of a situation, such as when Bill Clinton gave our ballistic missle tech to China, and only then did it penetrate. But ordinarily they went to great lengths to avoid the truth, so as to be disturbed.
I'm getting through to some, but others I've just told to keep an open mind and I'm happy to walk them through things if our version of the truth eventually prevails.

Yeah, their version of woke. Which actually means sleeping sheep that will drink the kool-aid without hesitation if the right person asks them to.
