That'd be mostly useless in general. The Disney+ thing only worked because there are plenty alternatives to that streaming service, but for example Amazon is a tougher one, or say for example Windows/Mac. What I propose is a community for precisely showing new alternatives and committing to them, helping them grow and nurturing them. It's not only a more positive community but a less passive one.

That would be useful. Also, Ebay is a surprisingly valid alternative to Amazon nowadays. Prices come out about the same when you take lack of prime membership and wider array of options into account, so if you can accept the slighty longer shipping times, I'd suggest you try it. As for prime video, get a VPN and go sailing.
