So many places pay above minimum wage anyway, raising the minimum wage will only hurt the smaller places that can't afford it. McDonald's been paying $10+ for years now. At $10/hr working full time you're going to end up taking home about as much as the guy making $15 because you actually start PAYING taxes instead of receiving a "refund" of more than what was paid.
I remember going from $9.50/hr to $15.25/hr and my checks were only slightly different because I was paying more on that extra money.
Along those same lines, if I work 3 days a week my paycheck is only slightly smaller than a full week. I want to go part time because of this but they won't let me
