Exactly! Many people don't know that Hitler was tried to make peace with Churchill over 2 dozen times but each time he refused! Very esoteric part of WWII that doesn't get talked about in the mainstream.

Yes, and they also don't know that the lands he initially claimed had been taken from Germany in the Treat of Versailles after WW1, nor that Austria was tickled to death to be back in the old empire.
