So we all know that the Dems know that they didn't have much ground to stand on to impeach Trump. However, the reason they pushed with the farce was because the Supreme Court hears the cases come Feb. 19 I think for MI, WI and GA. If the Supreme Court rules on the cases that those races were indeed fraud, that they should overturn results or throw out the votes that were identified as fraudulent, then it would make Trump the "winner" (even though we already know he is) and decree that the Biden administration must relinquish the power.
This is why they are fortifying the capital, this is why they are keeping the national guard still, this is why they are trying to push for the impeachment to try and block this from happening if the Supreme Court makes that ruling.
Is MI/WI/GA enough to “overturn”? I thought he needed more than that. In any case, after dismissing the Texas case for “lack of standing”, I don’t think SCOTUS has the balls to make a decision that would unseat the (supposed) President. I think they’d say it’s too disruptive.
I don't think, those 3 were enough, it needed PA too I believe. However it would give momentum that the other open cases that are still moving forward momentum.
And I think the Texas case was thrown out because in their terms, "no damages had happened yet", which was the certification of the vote.

That’s easy - because they know it doesn’t matter that they said the same things. They know the rules don’t apply to them and nobody will hold them accountable. They know they can do whatever they want and get away with it. Look at Swalwell ffs - guy is UNQUESTIONABLY compromised by a Chinese spy, and nobody cares. No consequences, nothing. They can do whatever they want, up to and including stealing the Presidency, and nobody will stop them.
