I don't think this gets talked about enough as we still live under this illusion that the federal government represents the collection of the states. In reality they are a separate entity with their own agenda and only beholden to globalist elites. Basically we have 50 sovereign states and then another entity, the federal government, that is essentially a foreign country, based in DC, that then imposes it's will and mandates on the 50 states. Finally we are starting to see the states tell them to go fuck themselves but we need a lot more of it. My understanding, from a historical perspective, is that this grew out of similar arrangements in London (United Kingdom) and Vatican City (Italy) as many speculate that Washington DC is in collusion with these other cities as well as international bankers.
