I have documented PTSD and panic attacks. Not being able to breathe sends me into a panic attack where I’m unable to function. I have a doctors note but I’ve been refused service at the ER and also a Nowcare.
I can’t wear one either, as I have an allergy. I’m allergic to bullshit...and tyranny. Therefore, I have never worn one and never will. Even at the doctor's office, you should’ve seen the looks

I actually enjoy how not wearing one freaks the covidiots out, but there are certain situations (like Church) where I'd like to be left in peace. With a note, at least my pastor would let me into the Church. (DC pede here. And no, I can't move out, no matter how much I want to.)
You don't need a note. "I have a medical exemption". "I don't share my private medical information with anyone other than my family and my medical provider." If you are not being allowed in, tell them they are in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. File a complaint here: https://civilrights.justice.gov/report/

I gasp for air and have a panic attack for about an hour and spend the next day or two in a ln exhausted fog. No fun and not doing it to make someone who should have stayed home more comfortable
Yeah. Basically same here. Sometimes I'm fine for 10 minutes, others it's 10 seconds. Then something clicks and before I know it I'm hyperventilating.
No need to be sorry - it's literally never impacted my life until this mask thing beyond having been really fidgety with scarves or jackets(but I hadn't known why at the time).

No, dumbass. I'm saying it's a problem for me after a certain amount of time. Being forced to do so once it's flipped that switch is when it's a problem. Often that means going in to buy gas wouldn't always be a problem, but doing a grocery shop is.

Close friends/family in nursing homes, my job, my church, and so forth.
I have PTSD due to a strangulation trauma in my past. Anything over my face or neck is a problem.
I had to wear one to see a doctor, but it led to two sleepless nights after. Sooo, guess I won't be going next time if I have to wear one.
