One of the Reasons People Hesitate to Leave Facebook is because they have so many photos, messages, etc. (esp photos). Here are four links that instruct how easy it is to move all of your FB data and download it to your computer or transfer it to another blog, say WPress or such.

One interesting thing about downloading your timeline...looking at it provided me with an overwhelming sense of how much information about my psyche I provided for assholes to use to sell me shit or try to turn my political / philosophical views. This made me shudder.
Facebook feels terrible because it's a place where people consent to the slave paradigm the WEF is attempting to roll out with The Great Reset. Withdrawing your consent feels different. Better.

It is sad to see so many young people today putting complete trust in Facebook to safekeep what is effectively their family photo album -- only to lose it because of a forgotten password or a banning.
Facebook also reduces the quality of uploaded material.
Keep your own copies of important photos, don't depend on anyone else.
Thanks: I deactivated to keep Messenger going to talk with family, but had just decided to quit FB and Messenger altogether. Now, I'll go back in and get my pictures before I close it out for good.
