I know. It was hard. But if we won't even take a stand with these censorious assholes, and we let them continue spying on and censoring us, then where exactly will we armchair warriors take a stand?
So far, in 5 days, I've persuaded 13 of my friends to create a Telegram account and they all love it.

So, I felt the same way initially. Felt weird not being in contact with "friends". But honestly it ended up that I simply gravitated to a group of actual people and my real world friend base is better than ever.
Try this: put a post out that you're deleting FB in a week and ask people to DM you their emails and phone numbers so you can stay in contact. You'll be surprised how few will actually send you that info. And those that do - realize that they care enough about you to do that. You'll realize how shallow and empty FB interaction really is.
I thought about it and then didn't post that I was leaving. Reason is that I have many leftist friends who would not hesitate to "archive" my posts and comments (I don't hold back on FB... even during the BLM "peaceful protests" I compared them to Nazis... the arguments were... well you can imagine 😂). Remember that one chick who recently got cancelled by some asshole years after she posted something?
Anyway one day I just left. No looking back.
