I think as just at a party with a particularly SJW couple.

They ended up leaving the party screaming that I was a racist.

I was demanding they explain how I was racist. They screamed back that if I didn't know what I'd said was racist then I was obviously racist.

The people at the party knew they were the psychos. But kept aggressively telling me to stop provoking them with my demands to explain their accusations.

They left. And everyone knows who is the mental. But I'm unsure that people here might still think I'm racist... Because "why would they be so angry if he wasn't racist".

The world is fucked up. End of rant.

Ya. Letting people call you a racist with no pushback is definitely "manning up".

I don't care what the circumstances are. If a guest at my house calls another guest a racist they get kicked the fuck out and cut off instantly.

The person I was responding to was unhinged enough to suggest I kill myself for not finding fault with the hosts of the party and then threw a tantrum about how much of a victim he or her was so that person isn't exactly stable. You have no idea whether this party even took place or which party at this party instigated the other. You assume the host heard what the argument was about I could definitely be upset with one or both parties.

Sometimes you invite people over just to be nice and when they get in fights or arguments while you're having a good time then that's not fun. It's also not fun when people are friends of co-workers or relatives and people that might deserve being told off, end up as the source of some much bigger quarrel or drama when all folks wanted to do was probably drink and have fun. Pick your battles and if someone's too emo to have a good time at a party without getting into politics then they probably shouldn't be at that party.
